CHARLES2 FARRELL (FARRELL1) was born 1827 in Co. Dublin, Ireland, and died 21 September 1868 in Tasman, Tasmania. He married ANN TULLY 19 February 1855 in Holy Catholic Church Of St Joseph, Hobart Town, Tasmania, daughter of TULLY. She was born Bet. 1829 - 1832 in Co.Meath, Ireland, and died 13 January 1868 in Hospital for the Insane, New Norfolk, Tasmania.
Charles was a brick maker in Ireland before transportation.
Trial Date: 20 Oct 1849 in Co. Dublin.
Crime description: Breaking and entering a building and stealing therein. Tried with Mick Rowe on board. Gaol report , very good. States this offence stealing horse hair and sacking for Charles T?? in County Dublin.
Sentence: Transportation for 7 years.
Left Dublin 20 December 1850 and arrived Tasmania per 'London' 19 Mar 1851.
Burial: Tasman, Tasmania
Occupation: Labourer At The Coalmine.
Anne Tully came out to Tasmania as a convict on the ship 'Midlothian' which left Dublin 17 Nov 1852 arriving in VDL 24 Feb 1853.
Tried at Co. Meath on 29 Dec 1851. Transported for larceny, stealing potatoes from Fitzsimmons, 3 months for clothes, 2 months for fowls and 2 months for breaking a window.
